Situation

Where the return team is attempting a punt block... really crowding the LOS and coming after it.

Kick Team

Alignment

Double tight, three bull backs (middle one a good receiver, strong runner)... extra full back to the side with most rushing pressure.

Sequence

• At snap, punter receives snap and pretends a drop (just lowers the ball to the ground as caught... gives impression of broken play) and starts back peddling.
• Blockers give initial block then let rushers through, bull backs "miss their blocks".
• Back peddling punter dumps the ball over the onrushing defenders to the middle full back, now with a screen in front of him.
